Trabzonspor of Turkey midfielder Eddy Ogenyi Onazi has admitted he is eager to return to action, after another bout with injury, but says he will not rush back to the pitch until he is fully recovered.
It was learnt that Onazi is achieving rapid recovery from the Achilles tendon tear that required surgery in December, but the former SS Lazio of Italy star stressed that he will not hop back to action until he is 100% fit.
Onazi added that he is happy with the progress he is making in his stages of rehabilitation, which he says has been boosted by support from club mates, officials and fans.
Onazi disclosed: “I don’t want to rush things but hopefully very soon I should be back doing what I know how to do best.
“Everything is going well. The rehabilitation is going on well and I think i’m recovering ahead of schedule.”
