The brother of a teenager who begged cops for help six times before her county lines drug-dealer boyfriend killed her is suing police.

Oluwaseyi Dada admits to killing Katrina Makunova

Julius Makunova said he felt “betrayed” by officers’ handling of her complaints about Oluweysi Dada, 21.

Trainee hairdresser Katerina, 17, died when Dada pushed her on to a 6in knife last July – just two months after he was let out of jail.

He got two and a half years for manslaughter after the killing in Camberwell, south-east London.

Five cops are being probed over how they handled her calls.

Julius, 22, said: “She didn’t know he was a drug dealer. She was just 15 and he was 19. He hid it. She repeatedly asked for a restraining order – they said they couldn’t do anything until he assaulted her.

“We will 100 per cent take legal action if it is found there was misconduct. It’s the only way we’ll get justice for Katerina. “Dada smirked at me in court. He knows he’ll be out in months.”

The Independent Office for Police Conduct said a probe “is still ongoing”.

The Met Police did not comment.
