Miley Cyrus did just about the most ‘romantic’ thing imaginable on Monday night, as she stepped in to premiere her husband’s new film. The singer ‘proudly’ represented Liam Hemsworth at the Los Angeles film screening of Isn’t It Romantic while he ‘rests and heals’ from an unidentified illness. Liam sadly missed Miley’s Grammy 2019 performance with her godmother Dolly Parton on Sunday night because he was reportedly hospitalised. But the next day, Miley was keen to do his film justice in Hollywood, saying that she was honoured to showcase his ‘incredible work’ in his absence and share his ‘shining’ moment with the world.
‘He unfortunately wasn’t able to attend due to health reasons… but he is recovering and taking this time to rest/heal. ‘It’s hard for entertainers to put themselves before the project but this time it was crucial… I am proud to represent him and his incredible work.
So happy to see him shining in this comedy! He is the funniest person I know, and the world now gets to see the Liam I wake up to every day… luckiest.’
Much the Grammys, which he had been hoping to attend with Miley, Liam was unable to join Rebel and his co-stars to promote the Valentine’s Day film in Hollywood over the weekend. Speaking to Extra on Sunday, Rebel said: ‘[Liam] was in hospital overnight, so hopefully he will be fine. He texted us this morning.’ Liam has yet to confirm any further details about his health scare
