The woman who was stripped unclad on the streets of Nairobi, Kenya, by unknown men last Friday, (because she was “indecently dressed”) has died. It’s not like I am advocating for indecent dressing. But the term ‘indecent dressing’ is relative to different individuals, cultures and groups. What happens to guys who dress inappropriately? Are they harassed? Is there sexism when it comes to dress code?
Unfortunately, ugly incident has now culminated in a murder case and all those involved should be arrested and tried accordingly. What a shame!
