The long awaited winner of the November 3rd US Presidential election election has just emerged, with the Democratic Party candidate, Joe Biden becoming the 46th President of the United States of America.
He defeated the incumbent Donald Trump with 273 to Trump’s 214 after election results of 45 States out of the 50 States have been declared.
Following his victory, Joe Biden has gone ahead to make his first victory speech. He thanked the American people for the honour given to him to lead their great nation. He acknowledged the fact that the work ahead is going to be hard, but he assured them that he will be a President for all.
In his words: “America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.
The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not.
I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”
