Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates his oldest son Jr’s 12th birthday in Majorca
Cristiano Ronaldo gave a glimpse into his family life as he celebrated his son’s 12th birthday in Majorca on Sunday.
The footballing legend, 37, took a rare break from training to share a touching tribute to his son Cristiano Jr. on his birthday.
Ronaldo’s oldest son posed in front of a large sports-themed cake which had the pattern of white hexagons on in the style of a football on and a red soccer shirt with the number seven to represent his father’s place in the Portugal national football team.
In pictures shared on Cristiano’s girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez’s Instagram page, Jr could be seen smiling as gold confetti fell over him as he stood next to his cake with green balloons behind him.
Georgina, 28, shared another snap of Cristiano with his son as they posed with their other children.
The striker stood alongside twins Eva and Mateo, five, who were born via surrogate before Ronaldo met now-partner Georgina.
Ronaldo’s oldest son was born in the United States in 2010 but immediately taken back to Madrid to be raised in Spain. The identity of his mother is unknown.
The family were seen enjoying a birthday meal outside taking in the warm weather on a long table where Jr’s friends joined.
Currently the birthday boy is a shining light at Manchester United’s academy, recreating his father’s partnership with Wayne Rooney’s son, Kai.
