Mohbad’s wife, dad, mum arrive court for Coroner’s inquest

The late musician Mohbad, whose actual name is Oladimeji Aloba, arrived at a coroner’s court in Lagos on Wednesday together with his wife, father, and mother for an inquest into his death.

Wunmi Aloba, the deceased husband’s wife, has not publicly spoken her husband’s passing since the day he passed away. She has also not answered to accusations that she played a role in her late husband’s demise.

Arriving together at the Lagos State High Court, Ikorodu, for the committee report of the Corona inquest into the death of young musician Mohbad was the young mother of one and the late singer.

The late musician Mohbad, whose real name is Oladimeji Aloba, showed up at a coroner’s court in Lagos on Wednesday for an inquest on his passing, accompanied by his mother, father, and wife.

Since the day of her husband’s death, Wunmi Aloba, his widow, has not made any public announcements regarding his departure. She has also not responded to allegations that she contributed to the death of her late husband.

The young mother of one arrived  at the Lagos State High Court, Ikorodu, for the committee report of the Corona inquest into the death of young artist Mohbad.

In an ongoing inquiry to ascertain the reason of Mohbad’s death, Coroner Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi had on October 13 called musicians Naira Marley and Primeboy as well as socialite Sam Larry to appear before the court on October 25.

The coroner gave the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, instructions to make sure the three were present on October 25, the next adjourned date.

Nonetheless, the nurse—whom the police regarded as a main suspect in the case—was not invited by the court.

Naira Marley and Sam Larry were detained last week, according to the police, on charges of making threats against Mohbad’s life, assault, and cyberbullying.

Commissioner of Police Idowu Owohunwa said that Primeboy was complicit in the case because he gave Mohbad a life-threatening injury during a fight.
