Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has explained her reasons for blocking May Edochie, estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie, on social media.
Ogbodo’s decision followed a robbery at her boutique, which she says was met with trolling from May’s fans, who implied it was “karma” for her support of Yul’s second wife, Judy Austin.
Expressing her frustration, Ogbodo shared that May’s fans regularly harassed her, spreading negativity and accusing her unfairly. She explained that she blocked May because of her perceived acceptance of this toxic behavior, adding that it affected her ability to interact peacefully on social media.
Ogbodo took to Instagram to address the issue, criticizing what she called “toxic” behavior from May’s fanbase. “Misfortune is part of life, and karma doesn’t target innocent people with pure hearts,” she wrote. “I blocked May because I couldn’t like her posts in peace, and it felt like she enjoyed the toxicity.”
Her post highlights her stance against online harassment and her belief that karma will ultimately affect those who engage in spreading negativity.
