Uche Nwaefuna grew up in Lagos State. She attended Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education International School and later completed her tertiary education with a diploma in law.
Montana started acting in 2015, when she made her debut in Poison Ivy. Since then, she appeared in the Africa Magic television series Hush (2016–2017), which aired on GOtv Africa, The Fake Life of Abuja Housewives, and Hire a Woman.
In her words, “I am a free spirited person but very ambitious, too ambitious for myself and very hardworking.”
2024 was one of the best years for Uche Montana, who became the darling of many after her impressive role in the Africa Magic television series, ‘Hush,’ which aired between 2016 and 2017.If Uche Montana had won thousands of fans to her acting prowess and abilities with her roles in ‘The Three Wise Men,’ ‘Hire a Woman,’ and ‘Banana Island Ghost,’ her appearances in Biodun Stephen’s ‘Roses and Ivy,’ as well as Mercy Aigbe’s ‘ThinLine,’ which both were released in December 2024 have won her millions of fans in and outside the shores of Nigeria.
