A female student of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Kogi State, was allegedly stabbed by an Okada rider yesterday. According to a student of the school, she was killed just because of N10. The deceased was asked to pay N50 but she said she could only pay N40.
This allegedly prompted the rider to stab her with a knife, leading to her death. Today, aggrieved students blocked the road to fight with Hausa people in the area because the killer is allegedly Hausa by tribe. A Dangote truck and some other properties were set ablaze. All students have since been asked to go home till further notice.
