Patron of Buhari Youths Organisation (BYO), Ambassador Nurain Mumuni, has said that the 12 months of the Buhari-led administration, have already left a mark for nations aspiring for good leadership to follow on account of its impressive achievements and ideal policy direction which will help build a new Nigeria.
The former Congress for Progressives Change (CPC), governorship candidate in Lagos State, averred that the first year of Buhari’s governance has brought the Country back to the prestigious path of honour and dignity among other nations of the world.
“Among other accomplishments in the first year of his administration, President Buhari has succeeded in saving for almost N3 trillion through the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
“Recovering of billions of dollars from treasury looters, reactivation of our refineries for maximum productive capacities; regaining Nigerian territories hitherto controlled by Boko Haram insurgents.
“Providing for the employment of additional 500,000 teachers in one year; providing a window for the recruitment of additional 10,000 policemen/women.
“Increasing power wattage from less than 2,000 to over 5,000 mega watts; renewed efforts at diversifying our sources of revenue.
“Purging the civil service by removing 24,000 ghost workers and adhering to the principle of separation of power and reduction of the size and cost of governance,” he said.
