Almost a year after Bobbi Kristina Brown’s tragic death, her father has said he and Whitney Houston could have done more for their daughter. In a new interview, set to air on ABC on Tuesday morning, Bobby Brown opens up about Bobbi’s passing which came six months after being in a coma. The aspiring singer had a mix of alcohol and drugs in her system at the time of her death. “We could have been better,” the New Edition singer tells ABC News’ Robin Roberts. “We should have been better.” The emotional star also admitted his daughter’s death was horribly similar to that of his ex-wife’s death in February 2012
“It’s not a mystery to me the same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney. There is only one person around both occasions.”The musician also recalled the moment he switched off his daughter’s life support.
“The hardest thing I had to do in my life was tell my daughter to let go. My baby’s gone,” he said. Holding back the tears, the 47-year-old added: “I thank God I’m still here.”
