Nigerian music producer and singer, Babatunde Okungbowa, popularly known as OJB Jezreel has been reported dead at the age of 49. The artist behind such hits as Searching and Pretete died at his home in Lagos. The source said OJB had a relapse about two weeks ago and had to be placed on dialysis, which cost N35,000 weekly. His situation worsened on Monday leading to his death today.
Multiple sources are also reporting that the music producer died from complications following the kidney transplant surgery he had about two years ago. He would have been 50 years old in a month’s time. OJB Jezreel is survived by three wives, June ‘Ama’, Korede and Mabel and many children.
