The Central Bank of Nigeria as re-introduced bank charges on Automated Teller Machines. This developement will be effective 1st of September, 2014 and bank customers will now pay N65 when they make use of “other banks” ATMs. The Central Bank of Nigeria’s directive stated that the first 3 withdrawals in a month on other bank ATMs will be free but subsequent ones will be charged at N65 per transaction.
You’ll recall that CBN cancelled the N100 bank charges on other banks ATMs barely 18 months ago so why are they stylishly re-introducing it???
