Ebola Virus: CNN Faces Social Media Backlash As They Erroneously Label Niger As Nigeria

Yesterday, CNN aired a report concerning the spread of the Ebola virus in Western Africa and claimed that there were 1,603 cases, 887 deaths and 55% fatality rate. To highlight the countries affected including Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, they “accidentally” labelled Niger as Nigeria while using the colour red to highlight the country.
