The Anaconda rapper revealed on her IG page that she graced the VMA without her pant and bra on that tight black out fit. But UsWeekly claim that Nicki Minaj, 31, was well aware of the impossibly quick outfit change that left her almost revealing a bit too much. The insider told Us: ‘She couldn’t never get into that dress. During the dress rehearsal she did the number numerous times and could not make it into the dress zipped up even once.’
They added: ‘I’ve no idea why she didn’t just decide to wear something else.’ Nicki herself told the publication she goes on a diet around ‘three days before’ a big awards show like the VMAs. ‘I’m always hungry and I wish I could eat whenever I wanted,’ she told them.
But the former American Idol judge did not let her dress disaster keep her from properly kicking off the ceremony alongside Jessie J, 26, and the Ariana Grande, 21.
