Single dad Cristiano Ronaldo is clearly totally devoted to raising his adorable mini-me, taking the day off work to accompany his son on his first day of school. The superstar footballer – who has vowed to keep his child’s mother’s identity a secret – clutched the four-year-old’s hand protectively as he brought him up to the school gates in Madrid, Spain on Monday morning. The 29-year-old sports legend has put his son first since his arrival, so it comes as no surprise that he was present for the landmark occasion.
‘My family comes first – my son is the most important thing in my life,’ he previously told The Mirror.
‘I’d love him to follow in my footsteps and become a footballer but he can be anything he likes. It’s still a long time off to worry about that.’
