The Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi says the sum of N300 million has been approved to aid the fight against Ebola in the state. The Governor said the state was ready to do all within its stead to make sure Ebola does not survive. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization, WHO, has expressed commitment to assist the Rivers State Government in their effort to stamp-out Ebola in the state.
He also assured the people of the state that Ebola outbreak could be contained, stressing that the most important aspect of combating the outbreak was surveillance and case management.
