Linda Ikeji’s Blog Shutdown

12

This is so sad. I am one of those Linda inspired into blogging. I know she will bounce back but I can remember when I went through the same painful incident last February. I finished my late blogging around 12am on the 26th of February. I woke up the following day, went to work. When I checked my phone at about 7am, I saw so may missed calls from numbers I didn’t even know. I got so many tweets from my followers asking what happened to my blog – http://trendysturvs.blogspot.com

I rushed back into the studio and typed in my URL and, lo and behold, what I saw shocked me to the bones. “THIS BLOG HAS BEEN REMOVED”. I made calls, went to Google office, sent mails but nothing could be done. My blog had been contravened Google’s policies – they never explained what happened to me despite several queries.

It was like my world had crumbled. I found strength in my family. They encouraged me, they knew how passionate I was about my blog. I lost a lot of followers but am glad I was able to bounce back – though I’ve still not attained my previous heights, it’s all good. Thanks to MissPetiteBlog she was one of the few bloggers who encouraged me!

She might not know it. But she did. I will also like to use this medium to say a big thank you to all of you who have transitioned with me during this time. Thanks. I appreciate everyone of you.

Linda will surely bounce back, it’s just a matter of days. Never delight in the “downfall” (or should I say “Stumble”) of others because you never who’s next. Just encourage people whenever they are down. That’s the life of LOVE God expects us to live.

Always remember the ocean is big enough for everyone!
