Afghan officials have reported the death of Abdul Qadim-Patyal, Deputy Governor of Kandahar Province in southern Afghanistan. He was shot dead during a university class at Kandahar university in Kabul. Gunman entered the classroom where Qadim-Patyal, was receiving lecture on Sunday night and opened fire on him while he was listening to the teacher’s lecture.
President Ashraf Ghani condemned the attack.Patyal was in his last semester in the education faculty of Kandahar University where he was studying in night classes. May his soul rest in peace … Amen!
