A Georgia motorist is suing Bobbi Kristina Brown for severe injuries stemming from a car wreck in January, four days before the daughter of the late-Whitney Houston was discovered unconscious in a bathtub on Jan. 31.Russell J. Eckerman from Marietta, Georgia, is claiming medical bills and damages exceeding $730,000 from an accident involving Brown on Jan. 27, just days before she entered the hospital.

Eckerman states that he had multiple spinal fractures, multiple skull fractures and facial fractures, and had to be put in a medically induced coma and underwent extensive surgeries following the accident.

Eckerman states that Brown, 21, was driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty negligently in Fulton County, at an unsafe speed and following too closely in bad driving conditions, when she changed lanes and then lost control of her vehicle. Brown swerved over the center line and collided head-on with the Eckerman’s 2007 Ford Taurus driving in the opposite direction, the lawsuit states.

The suit is brought against Brown, who has been in hospice care since last week, through her guardians Bobby Brown and Pat Houston and her conservator and attorney, Bedelia Hargrove.

In the same lawsuit Eckerman is also suing Ford Motor Company for the failure of his seatbelt and air bag to protect him, stating that the parts were “defective” and unreasonably unsafe. He also names a third driver in the crash, Danyela Bradley, for negligent driving as another defendant.
