BBC presenter Victoria Derbyshire has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo a mastectomy in the coming weeks.

Miss Derbyshire, 46, currently hosts a daily news and current affairs programme and has previously worked on Radio 5 Live.
A spokesman for the BBC said: ‘We wish Victoria a full & speedy recovery & look forward to having her back full time as soon as possible.’
