Aminu Tambuwal told on Saturday that the cleanest neighbourhood in his state will be awarded N1,000,000 while the runner-up zone will get N750,000 and the third best zone will get N500,000. Sokoto state governor disclosed that the prizes for the cleanest neighbourhoods are a part of the new incentive to enhance preservation of the environment and protection of the health of the people.
Special environmental sanitation programme in Sokoto is designed to ensure regular evacuation of refuse in the capital particularly and in all the other parts of the state in general.
