The Glo Mobile ambassdor, real name Bright Okpocha, is having quite a fantastic year. He shared his excitement about being interviewed by one of the world’s most prestigious news publications, The New York Times!
Prior to this feat, the Mayor of the City of Houston, Annise D. Parker declared July 17th as Basketmouth Day in Texas, an honour he doesn’t even have in his own country. The honour was bestowed upon the comedian for his contribution in integrating the Nigerian American Community through his art for the past 6 years in Houston.Basketmouth who held his U.S. comedy tour a few months ago was also chosen as one of the few Nigerian’s that were featured on international news channel Al Jazeera for their TV series ‘My Nigeria’.
