Three decades after her unclad photo scandal stripped her of her Miss America crown, Vanessa Williams, 52, was given a public apology during Miss America 2016 on Sept. 13. While Vanessa accepted the pageant’s apology, someone who wasn’t having it was her 1984 Miss America replacement, Suzette Charles, 52! Find out what she said.

Suzette, who was awarded the Miss America crown in 1984 after Vanessa was dethroned 10 months after winning the coveted prize, told Inside Edition that she was perplexed by the apology. “I don’t know what that was all about. I have a feeling that was about ratings,” Suzette told the oulet. “I think that as accomplished as she is, has worked so tirelessly for 32 years to build her career and to prove to America what she was always about, I’m not sure why she needed that apology.”
