Abubakar Audu Dies After Inec Announced Result Of Kogi Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate of the Kogi State governorship election, Alhaji Abubakar Audu who was leading in the election, is dead.

Report say he died Sunday afternoon from what was believed to be a cardiac arrest. Sources said he started vomiting blood and could not be rescurcitated. Some said he had died as early as 10am on Sunday but other source said he slumped and died after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared the result of the election inconclusive.

One of the aide of the APC candidate, Tenimu Nasidi said being a Muslim they have taken his death in good faith as they strongly believed that God gives and God takes, “To me I believed that his time was up; nothing any man can do to stop it”.
Audu was born on October 24, 1964
