Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Tuesday, expressed deep concern that his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), needs prayers. His statement may not be unconnected to reports that the party’s caucus chose former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff, as its acting national chairman, pending when the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), will ratify his appointment. Fani-Kayode who took to his Twitter handle @realFFK to express his concern said:

However, reports emerged Tuesday evening that Sheriff’s emergence as Acting chairman of the party has been rejected by the PDP BoT.
