Defiant: Adele labelled the terrorists behind the Brussels bombings 'f**ers' during her concert at the O2 Arena on Tuesday night, as her fans lit up the venue with their phones as a show of support to the city

Adele labelled the terrorists behind the Brussels bombings ‘f**ers’ during her concert at the O2 Arena on Tuesday night, as her fans lit up the venue with their phones as a show of support to the city. Caught on camera by a twitter user in the audience, Liam Edwards, the clip shows Adele on stage taking a moment to reflect on the tragic events of the day. And clearly moved by the tragedy, the Rolling In The Deep singer can be heard saying:

‘We’re all here for the same reason. I’m hoping you’ve all come to be entertained by me. I’m here to entertain you, so we’re all united, so that makes us much better than them f***ers. You’re on, you f***ers’

The music fan summed up the arena’s general response to her speech, captioning the video:

‘Adele has a message for the terrorists who were involved in the # brusselsattack # AdeleLive2016 # brusselsairport.’

Emotional: The 27-year-old singer was railed against the attacks at her latest London date in an expletive ridden speech in honour of the Belgian city - while her fans held up lights to honour the victims of the attack

'I cried... a lot and laughed even more! A truly beautiful and inspiring show ❤️ thank you @adele for being you!': And one notable member of the audience touched by the emotional scenes was model Cara Delevingne
