According to The Nation, the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh is reportedly being hospitalised after slipping off a swivel chair and landed on his waist. Metuh was about sitting down on the chair when it rolled backward, and he landed on the floor.
It was gathered that following the impact of the fall, he sprained his waist. He was said to have been carried out of the National Working Committee hall, venue of inauguration ceremony of the Borno and Kebbi states caretaker committees of the PDP. Report said two policemen carried him into a waiting car to the hospital.
