Adventurous 11-Year-Old Boy Drives Mum’s Car Into Telecoms Shop

An adventurous 11-year-old boy has caused his mother approximately RM20,000 in repairs after driving her white Honda Civic car into telecommunications shop. The mother of the errant child is reported to have gone to a nearby spa, leaving the boy and his brother in the car with instructions on how to start the engine while she was away, for reasons best known to her.

Instead of simply starting the engine as instructed, the boy had driven the car straight into the shop in Taman Vistana Indah, Malaysia on Friday, June 3, 2016. Thankfully, no injuries were reported from the incident.

The owner of the damaged shop, Md Shaifon Nizam Ahmad, 35, who had been out at the time of the accident, revealed that an employee of his told him about the incident at about 3.30pm that day.

“Several of our facilities and accessories were damaged. But what’s important is that no one was injured, including the two boys.”

Mr Shaifon believes that the incident could end up costing him up to RM20,000 in repairs.
