Women don’t normally like being stood up when you’re planning a romantic evening with them. Now one woman has revealed the exact extent of her anger with a series of hilarious messages she sent to her beau after he cancelled on her at the last minute. After stumbling across the exchange, an Imgur user – who is not believed to be the author of the texts – shared it online, in an exchange captioned: ‘Please give me an hour’s warning, minimum’ and which has been viewed more than 200,000 times.
It shows how the woman asked her boyfriend if he was still coming over shortly after 11pm, only to be rebuffed with the words: ‘I can’t. I’m sorry.’ She responded with a series of selfies where she appeared to be trying to keep her cool, despite seething over his response. Wearing a dressing gown, and with her hair freshly washed, she wrote: ‘Haha. What. So you’re telling me (…) that i shaved (…) exfoliated, and moisturized (…) for. nothing.’
Her screen shots showed her final message was read at 11:10pm, but her beau appeared not to have responded. However, that didn’t stop more than 1,300 people from commenting on the Imgur thread and offering their support. See some reactions below:
