Could this be the next US first lady? The New York Post slapped a unclad photo of Melania Trump on the front page of its Sunday issue over the weekend.The images were originally published in the January 1996 issue of Max, a now-defunct men’s magazine, but have not surfaced online until now.The shoot was by French photographer Alé de Basseville,when Mrs Trump then 25,was establishing herself as a model in the US.
When asked about the photos, Trump told The Post:
“Melania was one of the most successful models and she did many photo shoots, including for covers and major magazines. This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common.”
In 1998, Melania was introduced to Trump during a New York Fashion Week party.The two wed in 2005 in a ceremony at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
