A former governor of Bendel state, Samuel Ogbemudia, has died at the age of 84. Family sources say he died at about 11pm yesterday. He was a military Governor of the Mid-West State between 1967 and 1975. The mid-Western sate was later renamed Bendel State. May his soul RIP.
