Ekiti State governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has said Ekiti State government has acquired the lands apportioned to build filling stations in residential areas.The governor, while on the inspection of some of the lands said there is no going back on some Certificate of Occupancies of filling stations revoked, citing priority for safety of lives and properties.
He said he was on the side of the masses and would not shift ground on the new order on the granting of C of Os and due consideration of policies guiding the citing of filling stations.
The governor said he would not wait till lives and properties were destroyed unnecessarily before taking further actions.
