According to eye witness reports, this kidnapper was caught trying to kidnap a woman and her grand child around the Gbagada axis yesterday afternoon. The woman parked by an ATM leaving her mother and child in the car. She left the engine running for the occupants’ comfort. As soon as she stepped out of the car, this man jumped in and drove off with the woman’s mother and her child.
Fortunately for them, a gallant soldier gave the kidnapper a hot chase on a bike till the car somersaulted and the baby and grandma were both rescued with minor injuries. It was reported that the kidnapper had since been handed over to the Police for prosecution.
