They were instructed to “create a structured dress as walking art.” Handling it like the pros they are, the Mischka Aoki team turned right away to their “Her Royal Highness” dress which is from their spring/summer 2014 collection and can cost anywhere between $8,405 and $10,637.
This dress is a limited edition piece from Mischka Aoki’s exclusive Swarovski range. The fuchsia satin tulip minidress has a bejeweled neckline and an embellished skirt “drowning in exuberant flowers and thousands of Swarovski Crystals.” And it definitely fits the “work of art” criteria; according to the website, it requires “hundreds of hours of painstaking handwork to complete.”
