Former President Jerry John Rawlings marked his 70th birthday yesterday with members of his family and friends. He was gifted a pitch-black, convertible, sporty 1993 Chevy coupé whip. Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, the Member of Parliament of the Korle Klottey constituency and Jerry Rawlings’ daughter, earlier on Thursday paid glowing tribute to her father on Facebook. “Dad, I know that some day when the roll is being called, your name, J.J Rawlings will be inscribed in gold. I’m proud to be your daughter,” she said.
