Singer Brandy Norwood was hospitalized Friday after she lost consciousness on a plane before takeoff.The 38-year-old star was on a Delta aircraft at Los Angeles International Airport when she passed out, prompting her to be removed from the plane, TMZ reported. Paramedics from the Los Angeles City Fire Department arrived on the scene and began assisting her on the jetway, where she eventually regained consciousness before being transported to a local hospital.
Brandy was released from the hospital later Friday, and a rep for the singer attributed the medical scare to her overwhelming recent travel schedule. Brandy was bound for New York’s JFK Airport before the incident. She had been scheduled to perform in Brooklyn on Saturday night.
