Lagos State Government has warned residents who are in the habit of sending false messages and calls to the emergency call centre through the toll free numbers 112/767 and the social networks to desist henceforth, as necessary disciplinary action awaits anyone caught in the act.
Lagos State Government, through State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has embarked on advocacy campaign across the three senatorial districts of the state to enlighten resident on the significance of the emergency toll free number, 112/767 for distress calls.
Tiamiyu, while urging residents to desist from fake calls, stressed that such action was capable of causing confusion, panic and unnecessary tension across the state.
