Former special assistant to the ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, has slammed the presidential media team over the press release on the evacuation of Chief Alex Ekwueme abroad for medical treatment. He reacted to a statement credited to Malam Garba Shehu’s (the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity) saying President Buhari had ordered the immediate evacuation of former Vice President, Alex Ekwueme, abroad for an all-expense-paid medical treatment. He tweeted in reponse:
“The press release on the evacuation of chief Ekwueme by FG is unnecessary, indecorus& unprofessional. there are limits 2 propaganda.”
