Wales superstar footballer Gareth Bale reportedly wants to add a bit of star quality to his wedding by hiring Beyonce to perform. It has been claimed by The Sun that the Real Madrid is a big fan of the former Destiny’s Child singer and would love her to perform at his wedding with childhood sweetheart Emma Rhys-Jones in the spring. However, it will set the Cardiff born footballer a staggering £1.5m for a private appearance of the Halo and Single Ladies singer but it is believed negotiations are underway.
Bale and Rhys-Jones, who live in Madrid with their two daughters, will be holding their ceremony in Italy but are also planning on having a big party in Wales. Bale is on a £300,000-a-week contract with Real Madrid and has been linked with a move back to the Premier League next summer, with Manchester United said to be interested in his signature.
The 28-year-old has won three Champions League trophies and one La Liga title during his time in Spain, following his £80m move from Tottenham in 2013. He was also part of the Wales team which reached the semi finals of Euro 2016 in France.
