Following the steps of Imo state governor, Joseph Chukwuemeka Ugwanyi, for his final year project erected a statue of a lizard climbing Schnapps bottle. The image was shared on Facebook by Ugwanyi on Thursday, December 14. He disclosed that the concrete is an effect of alcohol abuse. His post reads:
“This for me marks the end of 208 weeks of a solitary academic jungle experience, and incidentally the beginning of a fresh journey. After much adumbration, I became a sculptor. Only God could successfully lead such a herculean journey, and I deign Him all the praise. Every art piece has a philosophical background, it is that which gives it a mental form, an imagery, wherein lies the message the artist wishes to project.
