The 31-year-old striker has joined the Blues from Arsenal in an £18m transfer, and his deal until summer 2019 also includes an option for a 12-month extension. France international, Olivier Giroud, first signed for Arsenal in 2012, and scored 105 goals in 253 matches while representing them.

His best season came in 2015-16, when he netted 24 goals in 53 games, including 16 in the Premier League. Prior to moving to England, Giroud played for Grenoble, Istres, Tours and Montpellier in his home country. His arrival at Stamford Bridge coincides with the departure of Michy Batshuayi.

The 24-year-old Belgian forward has not been favoured by Antonio Conte of late, and he has moved to Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season.
