A bride has been arrested on her way to her own wedding and charged with driving under the influence. The bride was pictured being put into the back of a police car while in her wedding dress after being pulled over.

It is not clear why Amber Young, 32, was on her own as she headed to the wedding, but she is said to have been involved in a three-vehicle crash on her way there. She was handcuffed and put into the back of a police car at 10.30am yesterday in Marana, Arizona, 30 miles north of Tuscon.

Scott tweeted, ‘A driver was arrested for DUI this AM while driving to her wedding. @MaranaPD officers arrived at OG/Thornydale at approx 1030 reference a three vehicle collision. One person was transported with minor injuries. ‘Don’t drive impaired, till death do we part doesn’t need any help.’ Young was taken to a police substation to have her blood drawn and released without going to jail. It’s unknown whether Young made it to her wedding.
