A man who was attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen earlier this year is said to be recuperating well after sustaining deep cuts on his head. The attack on Mr Augustine Mnyim, by Fulani herdsmen reportedly happened on 3rd January, 2018. After the attack, the victim had bled and laid unconscious in the bush for a whole day without help.

The suspected Fulani herdsmen left him in the pool of his blood after thinking he was dead because of the severe cuts they left on him. Mr Mnyim was discharged on 26th February, 2018 and has been recuperating very well. The family of Mnyim is grateful to God and Governor Samuel Ortom for saving one of them. They are also expressing there appreciation to Dr Aondowase Joseph Ngbea for his assistance.
