The rap world is still struggling to regain its footing after one of its most promising stars was murdered on Monday. But just days after XXXTentacion was shot dead in Florida his girlfriend has announced she is pregnant with his child. The late rapper’s mother Cleopatra Bernard revealed her son’s unknown partner is carrying his child, sharing a sonogram image and a heartbreaking message of joy. Posting an image of a scan to her Instagram, Cleopatra wrote: ‘He left us one final gift.’
It was reported yesterday an arrest had been made in the rapper’s murder by TMZ, which also claimed three arrest warrants were out for suspects. According to the website, 22-year-old Dedrick D Williams has been taken into custody on one count of first degree murder after being arrested on Wednesday night. He is currently being helped at Broward County Sheriff’s department. The rapper was shot and died at the scene.
