Five dead and another five have been injured after a minibus crashed with a car. The collision happened shortly before midnight on the A96 in Moray and at least one person has suffered life-threatening injuries. The air ambulance and a coastguard helicopter were scrambled to the scene three miles east of Keith along with police, firefighters and paramedics.
The road remains closed this morning after the casualties were removed from the scene and taken to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. An investigation is now underway to find out how the collision happened.
