The Akwa Ibom State Command has rescued seven more kidnap victims in Ukanafun and Etim Ekpo Local Government Areas of the state.
Recall that the Command in conjunction with the Military and the Department of State Service (DSS), on Saturday, rescued an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and eight other victims who were held captive by suspected kidnapping syndicates.
Spokesperson for the Command, DSP Odiko MacDon, who disclosed this during a press briefing at the Force Headquarters, Ikot Akpan Abia, Uyo on Monday, August 20th, said that one of the gang members was killed during shootout with police on Sunday, August 19th
