Joe Blackson, the 38-year-old father of two, who died on August 1, while rescuing victims of a boat mishap in Rivers State, Nigeria will be buried on August 9.
Blackson was said to have rescued 13 victims before he became exhausted and drowned in the process. Many people across the world have hailed him as a hero and have called on the authorities to immortalize him and take care of his family.
