A woman cut off her husband’s Manhood because he was spending too much time with his other wife, police said. Yunus Ahmed, 45, has alleged Shayda, 40, attacked him with a knife as he slept in Muzaffarnagar, northern India. It is claimed Shayda spiked his food and then attacked him because she believed he was neglecting her.
Yunus and Shayda reportedly married 17 years ago and had four children. She is said to have given her consent when he got married to a different woman last year over her failure to give birth to a son. But they had blazing rows about him staying at his second wife’s home, local sources said. Yunus told the Times of India: ‘She used to fight and demand money. I was fed up with her and finally I married another woman. ‘She had threatened to kill me many times. When I was sleeping, she attacked me and chopped off my private parts.’
Yunus is recovering in hospital but it is unclear if his penis was reattached. Shayda has been charged with GBH and poisoning Yunus. Area police chief Anil Kaparwan said: ‘The accused had mixed some intoxicating substance in his meal. ‘When he became unconscious after eating the food she cut his private parts.’
